For this upcoming Sunday, August 5th, MEVO Earth Crew volunteers will now be participating in a local clean-up right here in Mahwah! Originally, we were scheduled to plant trees at Veterans Memorial Park in the center of town, but we’ve decided to have this event at a later date. We apologize to the volunteers who were really looking forward to this event but we simply decided that this clean-up which will be occurring at Catherine Ave. in Mahwah was something urgent that we needed to take care of as soon as possible. Volunteers will still be meeting at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah at 10 AM and we will carpool to Catherine Ave. from there. We should be done cleaning up the area between 2 PM or 3 PM. Please remember to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, lots of water and some lunch if you want!
