Saturday, August 25th, 2012: Ramapo Reservation Clean-up/Hike
We will once again be participating in one of our classic clean-ups in the Ramapo Valley County Reservation. When hiking trails are used frequently, they eve
ntually become littered with bottles, wrappers, and juice packs used by people hiking these trails. Unfortunately, this means that the garbage on the trails accumulate and the serene and clean environment in the area is ruined by splotches of garbage. Have No Fear, MEVO has a Solution! On August 25th at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, NJ, MEVO is planning a trash clean-up to restore the area around orange trail as well as the upper lake. Volunteers will meet in the parking lot of the Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah, NJ at 10am on Saturday August 25th. All proper supplies will be provided, but volunteers are advised to bring lots of water, food, and of course clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty!
