Among the awesome news for MEVO for this harvest season, we recently had a corporate group from Mercedes Benz come out for the day. Not only were these hardworking volunteers able to finish setting up our new hives for our Summer 2014 harvest session they also planted a pollinator garden and created a new cage with an opening on top for our green collards at Bergen Community. Other successes on the volunteer front were the recruitment of two farm maintainers for our various MEVO garden, as well as teaching a class at Bergen Community College by our very own Matt Jordan and Eric Fuchs-Stengel.
In the meantime, let’s appreciate some volunteers who believe in service, sustainability, and the environment as much as MEVO does!
