The bees just keep on coming. This past week MEVO installed over 6 NUCs or Nucleus Colonies at MEVO’s Bergen Community College Farm! These nucleus colonies are smaller bee hives that have come from the first MEVO hives we got the previous summer.
These beehives will be used for MEVO’s Educational Bee Apiary
to raise more nucleus colonies, to make honey, and to teach local people beekeeping!
So if you want to learn something about bees this summer, spend some time with MEVO!
