Hey Volunteers and Farmers! Check this out, one absolutely awesome Washington Square News article written about Farm to Live. Congratulations Farm to Live team, take a read, you have earned it.
Meet farmer Sol Ezra. Sol and his family have been farming a unique plot of land between a parking lot and train station for about three years. Named Swan Farm, the soil in this little niche is strong and has produced a nice bounty of food for three years. This year farmer Sol and his family are donating 25% of their harvest to Farm to Live. Check out our PHOTOS on our PAGE of us helping Farmer Sol put together his plot!

It wouldn’t be a MEVO month without a hike!
Volunteers interested can attend the MEVO hiking trip at the Ramapo Valley County Reservation (a.k.a “The Res”) on Ramapo Valley Road (Route 202) in Mahwah, NJ. If you’re looking for some tough trails and truly beautiful vistas, MEVO hikes are the place to be! This hike will meet in the parking lot at 10 AM. Bring water, some extra food (if you want), and clothing appropriate for the weather and for hiking! During the hike, volunteers will be bringing along trash bags and trash grabbers as well so we can clean-up the trails in the reservation and hike all at the same time!
If you have any additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 201-566-6916! RSVP on Facebook.
Hope to see you all there!
Hey volunteers! MEVO is going to be at Bergen County Academies on April 4th to recruit a new generation of MEVO leaders. Cheers to the future and making a difference!
