Emma Spett and Keith Shane, the executive director’s of Earth Crew have just received the Mahwah High School certificate of achievement for their work with MEVO over the past two years! We congratulate them and wish them the best of luck with their college careers with Emma going to New York University and Keith Shane going to Cornell University, and thank them for all the hard work they have put in in making MEVO what it is today.

MEVO’s BCC Farm, has grown fast!
The growth of MEVO’s farm at Bergen Community College has been explosive! We have gone from a patch of weedy grass to harvesting our very first raspberry this past week (it was a very small raspberry, and it had to be split five ways to be enjoyed by all the volunteers present; nevertheless it was delicious). We will continue to grow healthy, sustainable, and above all delicious food, which we will give away to various community organizations such as the Center for Food Action.
