Do you see the sadness? That sad face belongs to our founder, Eric Fuchs-Stengel, who is in anguish over the pollution he sees at Catherine Avenue in Mahwah, New Jersey. Some of the things he’s found there are: tar shingles, insulation, treated lumber, plastics, paint chips, and lead acid batteries to name just a few.
So help make Eric not be so sad. Volunteer with MEVO and help clean up this polluted lot in Mahwah. One day it can become a forest, a community garden, or more. So head on down and help make that future happen.
