Attention, everyone. The numbers from the MEVO 2013 Trash Removal from Stag Hill are in. Here’s how much MEVO volunteers picked up:
a. 28 tons of tires – metal and stuff that got recycled. = 56,000 lbs of recycling
b. 17.19 tons of litter = 34,380 lbs of trash
c. Around 10,000lbs of co-mingled.
The total? 100,380 = 50 tons of material
This was the largest amount of trash ever in MEVO history. Thanks to all the MEVO Volunteers who helped make this removal happen.
