One programs of the programs we run at Fresh Roots Farm is a scholarship program for youth from disadvantaged communities. They receive our 1,000 scholarship for working one day a week for half the season at the farm.
Phaezon, is an Eighth Grader at Patterson Public School #12, and is now 15 fifteen years old. Phaezon, through his experience with MEVO gained a huge appreciation for clean, organic, produce, and loves to take home and cook the food we grow for his grandmother.
