We will meet at the local Ramapo Reservation in Mahwah NJ at 10:00AM. Then all of us will commute to Englewood. The event should last until about 2:00pm. Like any cleanup make sure to bring older clothes that you do mind getting a little dirty and some gloves. We will meet at the Ramapo Reservation at 9 AM and then commute to Emerson. March 9: Catherine Ave Cleanup

Where a deserted house once stood, there is now a vacant lot filled with a significant amount of trash and debris that needs to be removed. Not only is this garbage covered lot an eyesore to the local residents, it can be converted to forest area once all of the trash is gone. This will take several cleanups to rid this area of all of the waste and recyclables, but once that is done MEVO can work on restoring greenery to this area. It is recommended to bring clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty and gloves for when you handle the garbage. Catherine Ave is located in Mahwah NJ 07430. We will meet here at 11:00 am and finish up about 2:00 pm. For questions, you can email David at davidjaychoi@mevoearth.org or call 201- 916-4530. February 23: Stag Hill Cleanup

There is an abundance of tires, abandoned electronic devices and garbage waste that has lay dormant on parts of stag hill in our very own town. This month, we will be continuing our efforts to cleanup Mahwah by removing these hazards, which endanger Mahwah’s ecostysem and ultimately the fresh water. Nobody deserves to have this trash in their backyard or even community, so it is our job to take care of this. We will be meeting at the Ramapo Reservation parking lot at 11:00 am and then commute to stag hill. For questions, you can email David at davidjaychoi@mevoearth.org or call 201- 916-4530. As the end of the year is approaching and the weather is getting colder, MEVO wishes to finish painting our last batch of recycling bins, which will then be distributed to various businesses, schools, and households throughout the community! Come out and join us as we turn would-be discarded shipping containers into beautiful, colorful recycling bins. We will meet and be working at the Mahwah Department of Public Works in Mahwah, NJ at 142 North Railroad Avenue. We will start painting at 10 AM, and should be done between 1 PM!
