Did you know that MEVO will be producing strawberries this year? Well, now you do. During the 2013 Summer of Awesome, MEVO’s Farm Crew helped set up strawberry beds so that by fall harvest, people would have their own delicious organic strawberries to eat, instead of ones from the store.
Here in this photo though, you can see our strawberry beds prior to completion: bricks and wood are being laid down to keep these beds from washing down hill at the backyard slope at Pony Power. These beds are now in place and our first strawberry crop will be arriving soon. And we promise these strawberries will be most delicious.
