The growth of MEVO’s farm at Bergen Community College has been explosive! We have gone from a patch of weedy grass to harvesting our very first raspberry this past week (it was a very small raspberry, and it had to be split five ways to be enjoyed by all the volunteers present; nevertheless it was delicious). We will continue to grow healthy, sustainable, and above all delicious food, which we will give away to various community organizations such as the Center for Food Action. MEVO Giving Away Bins in New York!
MEVO is expanding its borders! This Saturday MEVO is going to be at the Green Festival in Seacaucus, New York and the Suffern Farmer’s Market in Suffern, New York. We will be giving away free recycling bins at both and be having a great time. Visit and get some free bins!
