Hinges on the Farm Door
We finally have hinges on our farm door! For anyone who did this before, they know how horrible it was to tie all those bungee cords around to hold the door in place. What a luxury hinges are. Luis is looking good putting on those hinges! We now have one beautiful door that is so easy to lock up at the end of the day 🙂
Eggplants and peppers and kale, oh my!
Check out the eggplant and yellow stuffing pepper we harvested last week! Just a small portion of our amazing harvest. There’s a lot more to come… we have peppers, tomatoes, onions, and carrots on the way (just to name a few). Check out all the harvest photos on our page!
 
Milk Crates at Summer Camp
MEVO does summer camp! On August 7th, we made milk crates with the kids from Pony Power’s summer camp. Pony Power Therapies offers therapeutic riding camps to children of deployed men and women, of special needs, and with medical conditions. Thanks to the enthusiasm of these amazing kids, our plot at the Three Sisters Farm is coming along great!  Thank you Pony Power for this awesome opportunity to work with the kids and share the love of farming!
