July 17: Invasive Species Removal

Looking to help the environment but Saturdays aren’t a good day for you? Next Wednesday, volunteers will be removing various invasive species that plague Mahwah’s environment. If we don’t take them out they will continue to overgrow since they have no natural inhibitor. We will meet at Ramapo Valley County Reservation in Mahwah NJ, which is on Route 202. The event will begin at 10:00 AM and go until 2:00 PM. Wear clothes that you can get dirty and bring lots of water! Eat a big breakfast before coming, we have a lot of work to do! Please RSVP for the event so we know how many people are coming. Either call Katherine at 201-316-7606 or email us at mevovolunteers@mevoearth.org. You can also RSVP on Facebook.
