May 5: Cinco de Plant-o
We’re going to the farm! We need CINCO volunteers to help us continue to PLANT-O! We will be meeting under the arch at Washington Square Park at 11:15 AM and then traveling to Paramus, NJ by train. Apr. 28: Planting Party
Help us to finish preparing the raised beds and get some seeds in the ground! We’ll also check up on the work we did last Saturday and plan out a compost heap for the site. We will be meeting under the arch at Washington Square Park at 10:30 AM and then traveling to Paramus, NJ by train. Expect to be gone the whole day – we will return home in the evening. Please budget $20 for transportation, and bring your own sack lunch!

Apr. 25: Seedling Kickoff
Have you ever wanted to grow plants in your dorm room? Now you can! Save some of your plastic food containers to plant herb and vegetable seedlings in with us! We’ll be meeting in the Third North Courtyard at 6 PM with free food, dirt, seeds and info about how to keep your plants healthy in the dorm climate. If you need to be signed into the residence hall, call Sophie at 818-929-4684.
Apr. 21: Soil Preppin’ Day
We’re going to the farm! We need ten volunteers to join us to transplant seedlings, fill planting containers with soil and compost, and prepare the beds for our next visit. We will be meeting under the arch at Washington Square Park at 10:30 AM and then traveling to Paramus, NJ by train. Expect to be gone the whole day – we will return home in the evening.
